WiTricity AI Tech to Sponsor VIP Area at the 2026 GolfCarting Expo & Dealer Summit

WiTricity AI Tech will sponsor the Expo’s VIP Area and exhibit at Booth 810, showcasing 600 W and 900 W wireless charging solutions for personal, commercial and fleet applications

WiTricity AI Tech, LLC, a pioneer in wireless power transfer technology, will serve as the official sponsor of the VIP Area at the 2026 GolfCarting Expo & Dealer Summit, taking place October 1-3 in Charleston, South Carolina. The sponsorship places WiTricity AI Tech at the center of a key gathering space for dealers, manufacturers, suppliers and other leaders throughout the golf cart industry.

WiTricity AI Tech will also exhibit at Booth 810, where attendees can learn how the WiTricity MR/1™ Wireless Charging System makes charging golf carts as simple as parking. Company representatives will showcase the 600 W MR/1 for personal and residential use and the 900 W system developed for golf courses, commercial operations and fleets.

The MR/1 eliminates the need to manually connect charging cables. A Power Hub installed on the ground transfers energy wirelessly to a Receiver mounted beneath the golf cart. When an equipped cart is parked over the Power Hub, charging begins automatically and stops when the battery is charged or the cart is driven away.

“Golf cart charging should be as simple and reliable as parking the vehicle,” said Joe Benz, CEO of WiTricity AI Tech. “The MR/1 removes the cables, connectors and human intervention associated with conventional charging. For golf course operators, it also enables opportunity charging during the natural pauses in a cart’s day. Each time a cart returns to the barn or another MR/1-equipped parking location, it can automatically add energy – helping operators keep carts available longer, increase their use throughout the day, increase battery life and ensure they are ready when needed.”

WiTricity offers the MR/1 in two power levels developed for different golf cart applications:
The MR/1 900 W is designed for higher-use commercial environments, including golf courses, cart fleets, universities, resorts, amusement parks and other operations where vehicles must remain consistently charged and ready for service.

The MR/1 600 W is well suited for personal and residential applications, including private golf carts, golf cart communities and vacation properties where convenient, dependable charging is more important than maximum charging speed.

Both configurations are designed to work indoors or outdoors and support a range of lithium-ion and lead-acid battery technologies. The system preserves the cart’s conventional plug-in charging capability for situations in which a Power Hub is not available. Multiple MR/1-equipped carts can also use the same Power Hub, providing additional flexibility for households, dealers and fleet operators.

At Booth 810, visitors will be able to speak with WiTricity representatives about MR/1 applications, installation, vehicle compatibility and opportunities to integrate wireless charging into personal carts, commercial fleets and dealer offerings.

The GolfCarting Expo & Dealer Summit brings together golf cart dealers, manufacturers, suppliers and industry professionals for three days of exhibits, education, training and networking. The 2026 event will take place October 1-3 in Charleston, South Carolina.
